Learning Objectives
1. Major Objectives of the Spanish Language and Culture Program
• Foster an understanding of Spain's diverse cultural heritage within a common framework.
• Explore and understand the emerging multicultural society of contemporary Spain.
• Encourage students to prepare for cultural visits to Spain, with a focus on classical and modern art, traditional customs, and contemporary popular culture.
2. Capstone Course Objectives
• Write an academic paper of approximately 8-10 pages (excluding figures and appendices) that addresses one or more of the core objectives.
• The paper should articulate a central research question and develop a well-supported, coherent argument.

To enroll in a Spanish III course, such as Spanish (Ⅲ)(1), students must first complete Spanish I (Spanish (Ⅰ)(1) and (2)) and Spanish II (Spanish (Ⅱ)(1) and (2)). This prerequisite is strictly mandatory.
