1. Prior to pursuing this Specialization, students must complete "Stage Craft (I)," "Costume Construction (I)," and "Lighting Tech. (I)."<br><br>2. Students are advised to take courses in sequential order by Level. Most courses require an audition for enrollment; please refer to the remarks section on the NTU Course website for audition instructions.<br><br>3. Level 1 is a foundational course. In addition to reviewing the essential basic knowledge of stagecraft and lighting, it provides students with a broad understanding of other theatrical technologies.<br><br>4. Level 2 features a "choose 2 out of 3" course selection ("Sound Engineering (I)," " Theatrical Projection Technology," and "Lighting Tech. (II)") that offers an in-depth introduction to the advanced skills required by various technical departments for a production. Students can select courses based on their areas of interest. By learning the techniques of different departments, they will also build a solid foundation for the communication required in cross-departmental collaboration.<br><br>5. Level 3 Core Elective Focus - 1 out of 2 Methodological Courses ("Seminar on Stage Techniques" and "Seminar on Theatre Technologies”) approaching from different perspectives. Students can choose a specific topic for further advanced research and hands-on practice based on their personal interests.<br><br>6. Level 4 focuses on practical production course. Students need to take either "Theatre Production (II)" or "Play Production (III)". Through actual productions to build hands-on experience, fully embodying the principle of "Learning by Doing and Doing by Learning."
