課程架構

修課指引
At Level 1 (Foundations), students complete four required courses—Western Political Philosophy I & II and Chinese Political Philosophy I & II. To ease entry into the sequence, Introduction to Western Political Philosophy may substitute for Western I, and Introduction to Chinese Political Philosophy may substitute for Chinese I. Together these courses survey the two major traditions of political thought and establish the conceptual base for further study.
At Level 2 (Applications), students select two courses aligned with their interests and extend foundational knowledge into specific debates and contexts. Because Modern Political Thought I/II and Chinese Political History I/II are sequential, the program advises against taking the second course without the first, as doing so will create gaps in background and continuity.
At Level 3 (Seminars), students choose one small, graduate-style topics course in an area of interest. Through close reading and structured discussion, they develop the skills required for textual analysis and scholarly exchange.
At Level 4 (Capstone), students write a bachelor’s thesis, integrating and applying what they have learned in the prior stages to produce an independent piece of research.
