This course module is based on the curriculum offered by the Biomaterials Program in our department, selecting the five most critical courses related to the furniture industry to form the module:<br>1. Foundational Courses: Forest Products<br>To distinguish the differences and characteristics of coniferous and broadleaf trees as furniture materials from physics, chemistry, and biology perspectives.<br>2. Theoretical Courses: Introduction to Wooden Furniture Industries, Wood Coatings and Coating Technology<br>To understand the business models and methods of the furniture industry from a business perspective. To understand wood coatings' composition and application methods from a chemical engineering perspective.<br>3. Methodological Courses: Wooden Furniture Engineering<br>Select suitable materials and design appropriate sizes and types of furniture from an engineering analysis perspective to meet the diverse needs of different uses.<br>4. Capstone Course: Wood Working Machinery and Practice<br>To integrate and apply various theories of furniture production.
