The learning objective set for this specialized field is to enhance undergraduate students’ literacy in communication and networking, solidify the foundation, and further expand their horizons. The goal is to acquire the ability for independent exploration, development, and innovation in the field of IoT. To achieve this goal, the department has planned this specialized field, encompassing five courses to help students progress systematically. After learning the basic knowledge of communication and networking, students can further explore the implementation and application of the IoT through advanced courses. Upon implementation, this specialized field is expected to increase the department students’ commitment to the communication and networking field, and enhance students’ interest in the IoT field. Early performance evaluation indicators will include student choices in graduate research groups, specialized research topics, and post-graduation employment.
