Goals and Expected Learning Outcomes		 透過此領域專長的修習，可增進本系學生理解大學圖書館與研究圖書館在當代定位與支援學術發展的重要性，並在未來進入科研相關單位從事資訊服務時，切實扮演資訊中介者角色，提供學術工作者所需的資訊資源。

修課指引
Course-taking Guidelines		 欲選擇此專長的學生，應修與新興學術圖書館服務議題兩門課程。修畢學術傳播專題（三選二）課程培養科學研究社群的運作基礎知識與觀念，並能認識科學傳播的過程以及學習傳播科學內容；修畢新興學術圖書館服務議題課程，則能深入了解研究圖書館與大學圖書館在科研機構扮演的角色與服務內容。
