Goals and Expected Learning Outcomes

本模組化課程將包含入門的計算機程式、進階的計算機程式語言、統計學、數據科學、和AI在真實化工問題中的應用等課程。藉由系統性與整合性的模組授課訓練，幫助學生由理論跨入實際應用的領域，並培養本系同學了解如何將人工智慧技術應用於化工領域，並培養其能力。

本領域專長包括三門基礎與理論課程與二門方法與應用課程，學生必須修畢至少四門課程，共計12學分。「計算機程式」與「Python及其應用」係程式語言課程，用以培養AI應用之基本程式語言能力，「統計在化工上之應用」則為統計之理論課程；「數據科學與決策科技」與「AI在化工的應用」則著重於數據科學與AI演算法，及其在化工領域的應用。本專長模組建議同學先修習「計算機程式」，其他課程無建議之修習順序。
