植物科學研發應用的學理基礎根基於植物生理學，本所是校內唯一能完整培育該領域專長的單位。具備植物生理學基礎，方能探究、調控植物生長發育，進而在糧食增產、精緻農業商品、生技研發、自然物或保健醫藥產品開發、環境工程等各方面著力。除了最重要的基礎與專業學理以外，最實用的尖端技術實驗課，華語、英語授課的跨域課程，讓你增進視野，獲得進入上述各產業的入場券。

Course-taking Guidelines

臺大第一個由專業研究所推出的領域專長模組! 學生建議先修過普通生物學或是普通植物學，對相關的語彙、機制有所了解後，再選修領域專長課程。而課程四個層次開課學期條列如下，不限修課順序，但若想在一年內完成者，建議大二以上秋季班先修完 level 1 植物生理學，春季班擇可順利銜接 level 2 & 3。level 4 跨域課程任一學期修都適合： Four levels of the module courses, their [curriculum #] and (crdits) are Level 1.
